This is an example of a wall gallery with different patterns, shapes and wall accents that co-exist with a large clock, while keeping with the same color scheme of black, white and grey, the furniture and accents in the room unify, balance, and complement each other. This method of repeating three or four colors throughout the room with the same colors in a wall gallery works beautifully.

Budget friendly NY theme Wall Gallery Design:

What I love most about a gallery in your home is that you can incorporate it anywhere. All you need are frames that go with your art, you don't have to spend a ton of money to get a nice set of frames. I brought mine at the dollar store! that's right spent less than $20.00 for a set of frames.

Tip. You can buy cheap frames or pick up some at a yard sale then spray paint to your desired color.

Bring in different things that you love about your theme choice by grouping pictures, colors and items that remind you of your feature. The yellow flowers are a fun and cheerful representation which remind me of New York.

Some more examples of things to add to a city theme that are not shown are, a map of the city or some street signs, the fun thing about theme walls is that you have no limit to what you want to create, as long as it makes sense to you.

Hanging tips:

First measure the wall area you plan on hanging your art, then arrange your design on the floor within the outline, start in the middle with the largest piece, make sure you are consistent with the measurements making sure at least one inch minimum are between your frames.

What a sweet and pleasant grouping.

If you wish to have a colorful accent backdrop wall that complements rose gold, some suggestions to explore are, colors within the blue color family like soft aqua blue, baby blue and navy, various colors of gray, and like above with white and cream still brings a nice color to your walls.

Tips:

- Put spaces between your wall selections no less than one inch.

-Never be afraid to use different size frames.

-If you’re using bright colors its best to hang your art on a neutral wall, so that your pictures will stand out.

-Use objects that represent your personality! You can use art pieces, plants ,letters, words and signs, most of these items can be found around your home so you can save a buck or too.

-Get creative, use stencils, textured paint, patterned paper, and wallpaper anything crafty to give your frames an extra pop!

-Keep pictures in the same tone family. If mixing tones make sure the darker tones do not overpower the softer tones, if you want to add some interest, put fewer number of darker tones throughout the gallery.

Hanging and tweaking your design:

To make sure the arrangement on the floor looks just as good on your walls, and to avoid unnecessary holes while tweaking your arrangement, try using command free picture hanging strips which holds 4 pounds per set, you can hang as many pictures without worrying about putting extra holes in your walls.

If you like how the strips work you can leave them up. I do suggest with some things using the method of a hammer and nail with wall anchors for those heavier items, or items that are expensive because I don't know much

A art wall gallery can become a story wall that communicates to friends, family and visitors to view what is most important to you in one spot, and will set the energy and vibe to the atmosphere in your home for those who enter it, especially if placed near an entry. Your wall can be funny, quirky, beautiful and glamorous, inspirational, pictures of the people most important to you, change with seasons and holidays, there's no limit, just have fun with it and enjoy!
